Smith, Bichara

Dan and Joy Smith of Nevada announce the engagement of their daughter, Jana Smith, to Elias Bichara, of Jos, Nigeria, son of Hawa Bichara, of Jos, Nigeria, and the late Paul Bichara.

Bride-elect Smith received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Missouri Southern State University in December 2004. She is a case worker for Ozark Center in Joplin, Mo.

Prospective-groom Bichara will graduate in December 2005 from Missouri Southern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He is currently employed by Roper Kia in Joplin, Mo.

A Dec. 31, 2005, wedding at St. Peters Catholic Church in Joplin, is planned by the couple.
