Kahl, Dixon to wed Sept. 3

Randy and Vicky Kahl of Neosho, Mo., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Lee Kahl, to Cody Joe Dixon. Cody is the son of Larry Dixon of Granby, Mo., and Roy and Lori Scott of Hephzibah, Ga. The couple will be married on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, at Silver Moon Full Gospel Church at 11 a.m.

Brooke and Cody are graduates of East Newton High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Pittsburg State University in May 2005 and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He will be continuing his education in San Antonio, Texas, where the couple will make their home. She will be working as a registered nurse at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston.
