Claude A. Bradley, 90, of Rich Rill, Mo., died Nov. 7, 2005, at Willow Lane Care Center, Butler, Mo. He was born Dec. 6, 1914, in Papanville, Mo., the first child of Scott and Mary Bradley. He attended school in Prairie City, Mo., and in 1940 he married Pauline Bell of Foster, Mo. who survives.

Claude was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Guam and the Philippines in the Pacific. He was a longtime member of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge, and worked many years at the General Motors plant in Kansas City.

Claude was preceded in death by his daughter; Linda Reed, of Rich Hill, one sister; Vera Wilson, Clinton, Mo., one brother; Walter Scott "Bud" Bradley, Fort Worth, Texas, and his parents.

He is survived by his wife Pauline Bradley of the home, a daughter; Beth Chorba of Georgetown, Texas, sons; Robert Bradley, Lee's Summit, Mo., Bill Bradley, Rich Hill, other survivors include his three sisters, Mildred Beshore and Jean Parsons, Rich Hill and Pat Bradley, Overland Park, Kan.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. at the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, with burial and Military Rites at the Green Lawn Cemetery, Rich Hill. The family receives friends Tuesday 7-8 p.m. at the Heuser Funeral Home.
