Sara Magalli and Jared Brockmeyer wish to announce their engagement.

Sara is the daughter of Barb Porras of Hanover, Ill.

Jared is the son of Karen and Brent Brockmeyer of Jefferson City, Mo.; and the grandson of Ray McVicker and the late Elenor McVicker, and Dale and Helen Brockmeyer.

The bride-elect is a student at Illinois Wesleyan University, majoring in English education.

The prospective groom is presently pursuing a Master of Arts in Music and a Master of Arts in Education at Truman State University.

A May 27, 2006, wedding is planned, at the Sunken Gardens at Truman State University.
