James Irl Drake Sr.

James Irl Drake Sr., Kansas City, Mo., (formerly of Nevada, Mo.), passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2005.

Mr. Drake was born Feb. 26,1932, in Nevada. He worked for Cox Hide House in Butler, Mo., and at Rich Hill Rendering before he retired. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his son, James Irl Drake Jr. of Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Peggy (Drake) Graham of Cape Coral, Fla., Brenda (Drake) Cox of Kansas City, Mo., Sharon (Drake) McReynolds of Weir, Kan., and Sylvia (Drake) Evans of Nevada, Mo.; seven grandsons; three granddaughters; two great-grandsons; former wife, and friend, Gracie Anderson, brothers, Raymond and Sherwood; and sisters, D.A. and Earleen, of Nevada. Cremation memorial service is planned for a later date.
