Anna Mae was a 1933 graduate of Nevada High School. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church, a homemaker and enjoyed her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane Ann Tew and her husband Clyde, San Antonio, Texas, Judy Scherrer and her husband Matthew, Richmond, Va.; three grandchildren, Sarah Jane Noblin and her husband Dave, Houston, Texas, AnnaMarie Weise and her husband Dave, New York, N.Y., and Bryan A. Tew, Curacao, NA; also one sister, Betty Jones and her husband Bob, Nevada. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Bertie Fowler; and two brothers, John and Grant Thomas.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, May 8, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with William Cox officiating. A private committal will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends 10-11 a.m., prior to the service on Monday, May 8.
