James Alfred Fulton

James Alfred Fulton, 59, Chesapeake, Va., passed away on July 26, 2006. He was born in Clinton, Mo., to the late James and Dorothy Steeber Fulton.

He was a member of the Oaklette United Methodist Church in Chesapeake.

Mr. Fulton is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lauretta Godfrey Fulton; one daughter, Laura Elizabeth Fulton; and two sons, Lawrence James Fulton and Lance Paul Fulton; one stepson, Ray Wayne Owens Jr.; one sister, Sharon B. Fulton Pruitt; one brother, Lewis "Chuck" S. Fulton. Mr. Fulton also has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family received family and friends at 5:30 p.m., Monday, July 31, at the Twiford's Colonial Chapel at 929 South Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake, VA., and the service followed at 7 p.m.
