Carol Sue Coonrod Pritchett, 54, Moundville, Mo., passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, Mo., following a lengthy illness. She was born Nov. 8, 1951, in Fort Scott, Kan., to Jack A. Coonrod and Jessie Geraldine Parker Coonrod.
Carol grew up and lived in the Bronaugh and Nevada area most of her life. She graduated from Bronaugh High School in 1969 as Valedictorian, Carol was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. Garland, Kan.
Survivors include her husband and companion of 29 years, Delbert L. "Pete" Pritchett, of the home in Moundville; stepchildren, Ellen Smith, Nevada, Angie Modlin and her husband, Paul, Moundville, Dale Pritchett and his wife, Lori, Nevada; grandchildren, Destiny Smith, Trey Silvola, Josh Modlin, Jeremy Modlin, Brittney Modlin, Cody Modlin, Izaac Pritchett, and Mary Pritchett; great-grandchild, Rhylee Silvola; her mother, Geraldine Coonrod, Liberal, Mo.; two brothers, Bill Coonrod, Bronaugh, and Bob Coonrod, Nevada; one sister, Margie Gazaway, Liberal; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father in 1982.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 21, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with John Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
