Roy Allen Clark, 18, formerly of Nevada, Mo., died in Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana on Aug. 29, 2005. He was born Feb. 13, 1987.

Roy went to school in Nevada and Goodland, Kan. He worked as maring hand in Port Eads, La., at the time he was lost in Hurricane Katrina.

Survivors include his mother, Rose Tihonovich; stepfather, Al Tihonovich; two brothers, Rex Clark and Floyd Clark; maternal grandparents, Chester and Bertha Wright; seven aunts, two uncles, and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, at Pine Street Baptist Church, Nevada, with Jim Wilson officiating.
