Melvin and Sharon Seaver celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on the evening of Oct. 5, 2006. They were married in Fort Scott on Sept. 29, 1946. After dinner out with their daughters and families, the evening was completed with a decorated anniversary cake, and a gift of a specially made anniversary photo frame.
