Ruby Adams Goss, 95, Nevada, passed away, Nov. 17, 2006, at Medicalodge in Nevada following a lengthy illness. She was born May 13, 1911, in Melrose, Ill., to Ray Cornwell and Naomi Teressa Nidey Cornwell.

Ruby was born and reared in Illinois. She lived in Hutchinson, Kan., for a time, as well as here in Nevada. She was a Protestant.

Survivors include one daughter, Frances Hancock, Nevada; one son, Wesley Adams, Nickerson, Kan; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one brother, Forrest Dean Stanfield, Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Rosemary Daugherty, and Betty Richards, both of West Urdon, Ill. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy Adams; one son, Robert Lee Adams; two brothers, Garnet Cornwell and Kenneth Gene Stanfield, and two sisters, Lorraine Gard and Pauline Rustles.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 20, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call now and until 8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 19, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
