Marjo and Carrie Schmidt, Harwood, Mo., and Jase, Jeremy and Jerd are proud to announce the birth of their daughter and sister, Jenna Elizabeth Schmidt.

Jenna was born at 4:29 p.m., Jan. 12, 2007, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 21 inches.

Paternal grandparents are Rita Schmidt, Montezuma, Kan. Paternal great-grandparents are Harlan and Elsie Nightengale, Montezuma.

Maternal grandparents are Chester and Sandra Wedel, Monterey, Tenn. Maternal great-grandparents are Louis and Dorothy Wedel, Monterey, and Lewie and Arleeta Koehn, Monterey. Maternal great-great-grandparent is Hannah Koehn, Montezuma, Kan.
