Sally Jo Baughn, 55, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, Mo., following a brief illness. She was born April 26, 1951, in Topeka, Kan., to Joseph Wallace Fogel and Vivian Ellen Austin Fogel.
Sally was born in Topeka, and lived in a variety of areas in her youth. She has resided in this area for the past 40 years. She made her living as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Sally was a member of Olive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Baughn, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; two sons, Terry Thomas, Blum, Texas, and William Blystone, Nevada; one daughter, Sarah Lovewell, Nevada; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five brothers, William Dice, Nevada, John Dice, Liberal, Mo., Joseph Fogel II, Mindenmines, Mo., Carl Fogel, St. Louis, Mo., and Tom England, Lamar, Mo.; two sisters, Georgia Jenkins, Joplin, Mo., and Pam Kraft, Clinton, Mo.; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 24, at Olive Branch Baptist Church, Milo, with Jim Wilson officiating. Committal will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
