Jack served in the Marines during the Korean War doing crane work on the docks, and building roads, bridges, and towns for military research. He went to work for Joseph L. Pohl Construction Co. at an early age and worked there his entire civilian life. Upon retirement, he became an active contributor to the Nevada Eagles Lodge No. 3770 and served on several committees. He dearly loved the Eagles Lodge and all their members both living and departed.
The union of Jack and Lois produced five loving children. He is survived by sons and daughters, Tim Dade and his wife, Patricia, Blue Springs, Mo., Monty Dade and his wife, Kathy, Golden City, Mo., Jeff Dade, Nevada, and Dana Dade-Carlin and her husband, Mike; 11 granddaughters, Meschelle, Brecklyn, Jacklyn, Jillian, Tara, Rachel, Meaghan, Kayla, Janessa, Elly and Clara; also one brother, Dean Dade, Belle Vista, Ark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Dade in 1984 and his first-born daughter, Gayle Dade Sanders in 1996.
Funeral services will be held, at 2 p.m., on Monday, April 23, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with John Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 1-2 p.m., prior to the funeral service on Monday.
