Elizabeth Mae Jones, 70, Kansas City North, passed away June 21, 2007, at North Kansas City Hospital. She was born Nov. 5, 1936, in Gardner, Kan., and had lived in Kansas City for the past 41 years.

Survivors include a son, Ron Jones of Cameron, Mo.; a daughter, Becky Osborn and husband Mark of Kansas City; grandchildren, Cindy and David, Christi and Brad, Ronye, Darryl and Christine; a great-grandson, Bradley; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Lois Cooper, Lincoln, Ill.; and a special aunt, Thelma Merritt, Nevada, Mo. She has gone to be with her "little man." She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Gene Jones, on Aug. 8, 1983; and her parents, Gilbert and Jestina Cooper.

Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 25, at Barry Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.

Arrangements are under the direction of McGilley Antioch Chapel.
