Brad and Jenny Swopes, El Dorado Springs, and Gracie are proud to announce the birth of their son and brother, Brody Braxton Swopes.

Brody was born at 8:14 a.m., June 29, 2007, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and measured 21.75 inches.

Paternal grandparents are Minnie Swopes, El Dorado Springs, and Edd Swopes, Montrose, Colo.

Maternal grandparents are Connie Newton and the late Albert B. Newton, Nevada.
