Ruth M. Remington

Ruth M. Remington, 90, Nevada, passed away Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at the Barone Alzheimer's Care Center in Nevada. She was born July 15, 1917, in Chetopa, Kan., to Blucher Remington and Mary A. Bell Remington.

Ruth was born and raised in rural Chetopa, Kan. She worked for Boeing Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kan., for 25 years. She retired in 1970, and moved to Nevada. Ruth worked as a volunteer at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada. She was member of the United Methodist Church, Senior Citizens, and the S.O.S. Club.

Survivors include locally one great-nephew, Andy Remington of Nevadaand numerous other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at Newton Burial Park, Nevada, with the Rev. Ralph Clark officiating. Arrangements are by Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
