You won't want to miss the Season Championship races Saturday night at Nevada Speedway -- the biggest little racetrack in the country.

The Pro 4s visited the speedway during the Labor Day special races.

There's a new points leader in the Factory Stock division. Cody Elnicki gained the lead but Saturday's races will be the deciding factor.

The track champions for most divisions are already in place, but the Factory Stock division will be decided at the checkered flag.

There will special races with the Legend cars and URLA late model cars, along with a Factory Stock Special.

LATE MODEL

Heat race winners were Donnie Timmerman, El Dorado Springs and Brett Lafollette, Kansas City, Kan. Timmerman got the lead at the start of the Feature.

Jack Simmons tried the high side of the track and was able to claim the lead. Timmerman tried to get back around him but didn't quite make it.

Zac Simmons went sideways, collecting the car of Shannon Phillips. The yellow flag flew closing the field behind Simmons for the restart. Eric Anderson went spinning, resulting in a yellow flag which again closed the field behind Simmons for the restart.

Ron Bolin Sr. gave us all some excitement as he went almost off the track on the back straight and then came to the front straight and scraped the wall.

Brett Lafollette tried to pass Simmons on the inside of the track but Simmons maintained the lead and was able to claim the win, his ninth of the season. Simmons will return as track champion in this division.

MODIFIED

Heat race winners were Bob Kerbs, Nevada and Brian Hall, Ft. Scott, Kan.

Kevin Morrow and Craig Wood raced side by side for a number of laps at the start of the Feature. Wood gained the lead and they traded positions several times before Morrow was able to pull ahead.

Ryan Whitworth gained second place from back in the field but ran out of laps before he could catch the leader. Morrow claimed the win, his seventh of the season. Morrow will return as track champion in this division.

STREET STOCK

Heat Race winners were Eddie Fox, Girard, Kan. and Joe Pryor, Arma, Kan. Dustin Wyland jumped into the lead at the start of the Feature.

A yellow flew as John Sheets went spinning. This closed the field behind Wyland for the restart. Andy Skaggs, Joe Pryor and Eddie Fox were all racing for second place and tried to make the turn three wide.

This didn't quite work, and Zach Marsh was able to jump into third place as all cars kept moving.

Just as the white flag was about to fly Marsh took over second place but ran out of laps to catch the leader.

Wyland took the win, his first of the season, which moved him into fourth place in the points standings. Marsh will be the new track champion in this division.

FACTORY STOCK

Heat race winner was Cody Elnicki, Girard, Mark Selsor got the lead at the start of the Feature.

Elnicki raced up from back in the field, tried the high side of the track and claimed the lead.

Chris Hendren went spinning but managed to keep the car going and the race continued.

Hendren used all the track during this race going both high and low and around in circles but managed to keep racing.

Elnicki left the field behind as he claimed the win, his eighth of the season which moved him into first place in the points standings. Who will be our new champion next week?

MINI-STOCK

Heat race winner was Scott Mohlfeld, Liberal. Dakota Singmaster got the lead at the start of the Feature. Mohlfeld came from back in the field to claim the lead. He then left the balance of the field behind as he claimed the win, his ninth of the season. He will be our new track champion in this division.

PRO 4

Heat race winners were Jeremy Teaver, Clever and Don Lacey, Ozark. Lonnie Muhlbaurer got the lead at the start of the Feature.

A crash involving Jeremy Teaver, Darin Widener, Ryan Hitt and Bob Widener brought out the yellow flag and an original lineup restart was called.

Muhlbaurer again got the lead. This time Hitt and Theresa Widener spun and again an original lineup restart was called.

Muhlbaurer again got the lead. Aaron Cornell brought out another yellow flag as his car lost a tire, which went flying off the back side of the track. After he car was towed to the pits the race resumed with Muhlbaurer in the lead.

Another yellow flew as Don Lacey spun into the tires and Teaver went spinning way off the track. Muhlbaurer led the field to the green.

Muhlbaurer went high in the corner and Dustin Bass tried to sneak under to gain the lead but couldn't quite pull it off.

Just as the white flag was flying Bass tried again for the lead but at the finish line Muhlbaurer claimed the win.
