Jerry M. Laflen - Jill R. Chapman

David and Connie Chapman of Mt. Vernon, Mo., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jill Renee, of Denver, Colo., to Jerry Matthew Laflen of Denver, son of Jerry and Betty Jo Laflen, of Moundville, Mo.

Jill is an account manager for Weaver Multimedia Group, a travel publisher, and Jerry is a senior manager for the accounting firm BKD, LLP.

Their wedding is planned for Friday, Sept. 28, 2007.
