Announcement is made of the engagement and approaching marriage of Sheena West and Dwayne Brooks.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Rodney and Wanda Diggins, of Moundville, Mo., and Debbi and Dave Beerman, of Metz, Mo. Parents of the groom-to-be are Mike and Ellen Brooks, of Milo, Mo.

Sheena is employed by the Barton County Memorial Hospital in Lamar, Mo. Dwayne is employed by Ernsbarger's Heating and Cooling.

The couple plans to be married in a 3 p.m. ceremony on Oct. 27, in Moundville.
