Ashley and Tony Cornell

On May 5, 2007, Ashley Abart and Tony Cornell were married at sunset in the glass chapel of Powell Gardens, in Kingsville, Mo. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Aaron Brockett, former pastor of Berea Christian Church.

Parents of the couple are Frank and Karen Abart, Bellingham, Wash., and Rich and Marty Patton, Walker, and Greg Cornell, Webb City.

The groom's grandparents are Don and Edith Stockstill, of Walker.

Bridal attendants were: Brittany Root, matron of honor, and bridesmaids Jenna Patton, sister of the groom; Denise Abart, sister-in-law of the bride; Amy Burkholder; and Nickie Davis.

The groom's attendants were: Dexter Patton, best man, brother of the groom; and groomsmen Derek Abart, brother of the bride; Shawn Huenefeldt; Anthony Robb; and John Laymen.

The reception followed at the visitors center's main lobby and atrium.

After a week-long cruise in the Caribbean, the couple reside in Olathe, Kan.
