Donald Jeffrey Day, 52, of Nevada, passed away on Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at his home in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. He was born on March 16, 1955, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Obie Day and Donna Lee Long Day.
Don was born in Phoenix but was reared in El Dorado Springs. He served in the United States Army in the 1970s. He has lived in Nevada for the past three years. Don was a Presbyterian and a member of the American Legion Leon Ogier Post No. 2, of Nevada.
Survivors include one son, Donald P. Day; one daughter, Mariel E. Day; one uncle, Jim Day, of Nevada; two aunts, Barbara Conner, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Katherine Day, of Nevada.
A private inurnment will be held at Clintonville Cemetery, in El Dorado Springs, at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada.
