Alexander Lyiev Reed

Mary and Kevin Reed, of Fort Polk, La., are proud to announce the birth of their son, Alexander Lyiev Reed. Alexander was born at 5:40 p.m., on April 7, 2008, at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, Fort Polk, La. He weighed 9 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 19 1/2 inches.

Maternal grandparents are Ellen Farwell and Rick Brasiola, of Neosho, Mo.

Paternal grandparents are Steve and Janet Reed, of Nevada.
