Barbara Virginia Kearby passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Barbara was born on Nov. 27, 1929, in Dixon, Ill. Barbara spent the majority of her life in San Francisco, Calif., and El Dorado Springs, before moving to the Nevada area in the early 1990s.

Barbara will be remembered as a devout Christian who loved children and enjoyed spending time with them at the park.

Barbara is survived by sons, Don and Ron Del Rosario and Eddie; two daughters, Edith and Patty; a brother; three sisters and numerous grandchildren, family and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Virginia Switzer; husband Don Del Rosario; a son, Frankie; and a daughter Barb Files.

Services will be held on Friday, April 25, at 10:30 a.m., at Evergreen Memorial Chapel, with burial following at Newton Burial Park, Nevada.
