April 25

There were reports of a vehicle accident in the Walker area, a domestic dispute in the Nevada area, property damage in the Nevada area, a stranded motorist in the Nevada area, fraud in the Nevada area, an agency assist in the Nevada area, an agency assist in the Barton County area, a 911 call in the Bates County area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Horton area, a vehicle ran off the road in the Sheldon area, a medical call in the Sheldon area, harassment in the Stockton area, a careless and imprudent driver in the U.S. Highway 71 area, an alarm call in the Nevada area, an assault in the Nevada area, a suspicious activity in the Nevada area, phone harassment in the Sheldon area, a check well being in the Horton area.

Michael D. Nichols, 23, of Nevada, was arrested and procesed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of passing bad checks in the McDonald County area. He is being held in lieu of a $250 cash only bond.

Leslie G. Covey, 32, of Fort Scott, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of parole violation. He is being held without bond.

Micha L. Cargill, 21, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of failure to obey judge's orders. He is being held without bond.

There was a report of a noise complaint in the Sheldon area, a stranded motorist in the Nevada area, an assault in the Nevada area, property damage in the Hume area, and a property damage in the Sheldon area, a medical call in the Metz area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Sheldon area, an animal abuse in the Nevada area, vandalism in the Moundville area, a controlled burn in the Deerfield area, a juvenile call in the Nevada area and harassment in the Metz area.

Paul D. Heckadon, 34, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He was released on a bond of $25,000.
