May 16

There were reports of a suspicious vehicle in the Walker area, a check well being in the Nevada area, a vehicle accident in the Bates County area, debris in the roadway in the Horton area, an animal in the Hume area, a four-wheeled ATV reported in the Sheldon area, a prowler in the Sheldon area, a controlled burn in the Milo area, an abandoned vehicle in the Sheldon area, a theft in the El Dorado Springs area, a suspicious vehicle in the Walker area, harassment in the Nevada area, an abandoned vehicle in the Richards area, suspicious activity in the Nevada area, and a domestic dispute in the Bronaugh area.

Michael L. Huegel, 19, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of failure to appear for assault. He was released on a $400 cash only bond.

May 17

There were reports of a warrant service in the Nevada area, a missing person in the Walker area, an animal in the Sheldon area, shots fired in the Bronaugh area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, a deceased person in the Schell City area, a controlled burn in the Deerfield area, suspicious activity in the Bronaugh area, a 911 wrong number in the Vernon County area, a 911 wrong number in the Vernon County area, cows out in the Richards area, cows out in the Walker area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, an abandoned vehicle in the Schell City area, a medical call in the Lawrence County area, suspicious activies in the Sheldon area, a disturbance in the Nevada area, vandalism in the Nevada area, and a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area.

Theresa D. Bailey, 37, of Belton, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of shoplifting. She is being held on a $125.50 cash only bond or a $500 surety bond.
