Bonita "Bonnie" Yoke Cook, age 75, passed away July 10, 2008.
She is preceded in death by son, Jeffery Allan Yoke, and husband Samuel T. Cook. She is survived by daughters, Gayle (Dickie) Adkins, of Franklin, and Angela Yoke Payne and by brother Roger Cummings, of Fort Scott, Kan.
She was a loving mother to her family, a member of the Pro. Bowlers Association and of Dawson Baptist Church, in Hoover, Ala.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 13, from 2 to 5 p.m., at Hillcrest UMC, 5112 Haywood Lane. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 14, in the church sanctuary, with the Rev. Gene Lovelace, and the Rev. Charles Armistead officiating. Committal services will be held at 11:30 a.m., at Woodland Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the employees of Alive Hospice and request donations be made to Alive Hospice in Mrs. Cook's honor.
