Mariam A. Tucker - Levi N. Self

Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Tucker, of Fort Scott, Kan., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mariam Ann, to Levi Nathaniel Self, son of Dr. and Mrs. Max Self, Fort Scott.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Fort Scott Community College with an Associate of Science and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in early childhood development, at Pittsburg State University.

The groom-to-be is pursuing an engineering technology degree at LeTourneau University, Longview, Texas.

Wedding plans are for July of 2009.
