She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Linda (Hornecker) Green, in 1998; two brothers, Dean and Ralph Folkner; three sister, Inez (Folkner) Garrett, Juanita (Folkner) (Patterson) Tooley, Allene (Folkner) Hiestand. She is survived by her children, David Alcon, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Juanita Wachholtz, of Baltimore, Md., and Robert Hornecker, of Yuma, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Lee Hornecker, Alicia Wachholtz, Nathan Alcon, Jacqueline Alcon, and Alex Alcon; four sisters Nadine Moore and husband Billy, of Claremore, Okla., Verna Overstreet, of Lee's Summit, Mo., Johnnie Medley, of Moundville, and Evea Jordan, of Nevada; numerous cousins, neices and nephews.
Bessie was a mother, housewife, tax consultant and ordained minister. She loved to travel and lived in several different places in the states of Arizona, California and Nevada.
Arrangements and memorial services were held July 14, in care of Jensen's Sierra Vista Mortuary, in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
