Adam J. York - Christi R. Wimmer

Phil and Nancy Wimmer, Fulton, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Christi Rayann Wimmer, to Adam Jeffrey York, son of Jeff and Melissa York, Galena.

Christi, a 2002 graduate of Rich Hill High School, received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Pittsburg State University in 2006. She is a licensed social worker for the state of Kansas. Christi is employed by Pittsburg U.S.D. 250 and works part-time for Crawford County Mental Health as a psychosocial group counselor.

Adam, a 2001 graduate of Columbus High School, completed a program at the Southeast Kansas Vocational School with a certification in precision machining. He is employed by Acuwire and Design of Joplin.

The couple is planning an October 2008, wedding.
