Sept. 12

There were reports of a stranded motorist in the Arthur area, a juvenile in the Sheldon area, a medical call in the Walker area, an assault in the Nevada area, a careless and imprudent driver in the U.S. Highway 71 area, an alarm in the Walker area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Milo area, a traffic stop in the Milo area, a medical call in the Richards area, and a check well being in the Dederick area.

Larry A. Baughman, 43, of Milo, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of domestic assault. He was released on his own recognizance.

Billie J. Phelps, 27, of Rich Hill, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear for trespassing. He was released on a $400 bond.

Becky A. Bishop, 32, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of passing bad checks. She is being held in lieu of a $600 bond.

Sept. 13

There were reports of three traffic stops in the Nevada area, an ex parte violation in the Schell City area, a 911 hangup in the Nevada area, property damage in the Harwood area, a vehicle accident in the Compton Junction area, trespassing in the Richards area, a 911 hang up in the Nevada area, property damage in the Harwood area, a road hazard in the Nevada area, an aircraft problem in the El Dorado Springs area, a stranded motorist in the St. Clair County area, a vehicle accident in the Bronaugh area, an abandoned vehicle in the Bellamy area, a stranded motorist in the Nevada area, and trash dumping in the Nevada area.

Thomas G. Peacock, 18, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of two counts of forgery. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
