Tiger golfers compete at El Dorado Springs

The Nevada Tigers golf team got back into action Tuesday with a strong performance at El Dorado Springs.

The Tigers finished second of the three teams, finishing out the day with a final team score of 187 and were also able to post two of the top three individual scores on the day. Senior Tyler Gast put up the best score of the day overall, as he finished out the course with a 47.

Justin Carter and Kenny Hill had a strong day as well, finishing at 45 and 47, respectively. Raymond Griffin shot a 55 on the day, while Joseph Ferry rounded out Nevada's varsity lineup with a 57.

Nevada's JV golfers showed a strong performance on the day as well, finishing the day with a final team score of 247. Ty Peckman put up the best score of the day for Nevada's JV team with a 57, followed by Trevor Landis at 61, Colby Moorhouse at 63 and Taylor Handly at 67.

The tigers are scheduled to be in action again today as they host Pleasant Hill.
