Two injured in Saturday night crash

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle wreck 3 miles east of Nevada on U.S. Highway 54 Friday shortly before 10 p.m. according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The driver Amy Rumfelt, 41, Nevada, was listed with moderate injuries and the occupant, Lois Daughrity, 21, El Dorado Springs, was listed with minor injuries. Both women were taken to the Nevada Regional Medical Center.

According to the patrol, the 2002 Cadillac Rumfelt was driving ran off the right side of the road, struck a fence, a utility pole and a tree.
