Education in flight: Helping imaginations soar

Nevada R-5 ROTC cadets once again had the opportunity to ride a Blackhawk helicopter around the area Monday. The helicopter holds up to 11 passengers and four crew. For several years the helicopter rides have been a perk for the cadets each spring. The course at Nevada High features aerospace science classes and the rides are not just fun, they're educational as well.
