Grizzle tournament set for May 30 and 31

The Perry Grizzle Insurance Agency will be hosting a three-person team tournament at the Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course on May 30 and 31.

The tournament will be played over two days with the first day's action being played in a best ball format, followed by scramble on day two. The entry fee is $190 per team and includes green fees, continental breakfast, free range balls and cash prizes.

The tournament will be limited to 36 paid teams and golf carts will be available for rental at $10 per day. Only 30 carts will be available, so each team is encouraged to bring their own cart if possible with no trail fees for use of personal carts.

The first day will include progressive tee times starting at 7 a.m., while day two will be a shotgun start a 9 a.m. Skin games will be played on each of the tournament's two days and in the event of rain, the tournament will either be shortened to one day or rescheduled if necessary.

Entry forms and all associated fees for each team must be mailed to Perry Grizzle Golf Tournament P.O. Box 476 Nevada, MO 64772. No entry will be accepted without the fee and teams will be granted entry in the order that forms are received.
