Elijah Doherty, 2, of Fort Scott, died Friday, May 29, 2009, at the St. Louis Children's Hospital, in St. Louis, where he had been awaiting a heart transplant. Funeral services for Elijah Doherty will be announced by Cheney-Witt Funeral Memorial Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott.
