Patricia Evelyn "Pat" Fillpot

Patricia Evelyn "Pat" Fillpot, age 70, of Hume, Mo., died Friday, May 29, 2009, at the Nevada Regional Medical Center. She was born in California on July 15, 1938, the daughter of Clem and Alice Jenkins O'Rear. She married Oscar Fillpot on Oct. 12, 1957, at Kansas City, Mo. She was most recently employed as the Hume city clerk. Previously, she had worked as a tax consultant, in bookkeeping with the Prescott Elevator and the Hume Insurance Agency. Pat was a member of the Hume Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Milton, and three sisters, Gloria, Darlene, and Barbara.

She is survived by her husband Oscar of Hume; three sons, Jeff Fillpot and Val of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., Oscar Fillpot Jr. and Cindy, of Independence, Mo., Greg Fillpot and Tracy, of Hume; two daughters, Lisa Howard and Missy Patton, both of Hume; one sister, Joann Gillette of Kansas City, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, at the Hume Christian Church. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery near Foster, Mo. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Hume. The family suggests contributions to the Hume Christian Church.
