July 2

There were reports of a domestic disturbance in the Walker area, a gas drive off in the Sheldon area, trespassing in the Walker area, a medical call in the Nevada area, a check well being in the Nevada area, debris in the roadway in the U.S. 71 Highway area, property damage in the Vernon County area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, and a stolen cat in the Bronaugh area.

Timothy Paxton, 20, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on a warrant from Laflor County, Okla., for forcible rape. He is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

Rebecca J. Melton, 22, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of non-support. She was released in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Gerald L. Parker, 24, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on a warrant from the Lamar Police Department for failure to appear. He is being held in lieu of a $672.50 bond.

There were reports of a theft in the Nevada area, an alarm in the Vernon County area, threats in the Vernon County area, a speak to a deputy in the Nevada area, a careless and imprudent driver in the U.S. Highway 54 area, a stranded motorist in the Deerfield area, a domestic disturbance in the Sheldon area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, an injured animal in the Sheldon area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, an injured deer in the Bronaugh area, a noise complaint in the Walker area, and a stranded motorist in the Walker area.

Helena R. Solis, 31, of Flemmington, Mo., was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear. She is being held in lieu of an $800 bond.

Justin M. Duncan, 22, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on a warrant out of Barton County for passing bad checks. He is being held in lieu of a $325 bond.

There were reports of a structure fire in the Schell City area, property damage in the Vernon County area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, a lost cow in the Nevada area, a traffic stop in the Moundville area, a grass fire in the Deerfield area, a missing person in the Sheldon area, an intoxicated driver in the Nevada area, debris in the roadway in the Nevada area, a civil matter in the Vernon County Area, a vehicle accident in the Nevada rea, and a fire in the Nevada area.

Brandon S. Bell, 37, of Fort Scott, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of a warrant out of Polk County for failure to appear. He was released in lieu of a $100 bond.
