Kate Elizabeth Matthews

Lanna and Brian Matthews, of Nevada, and big sister Brianna, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter and baby sister, Kate Elizabeth Matthews. Kate was born at 6:46 a.m., Aug. 24, 2009, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and measured 21 1/2 inches.

Maternal grandparent is Lowell Schmidt, of Nevada, and Meredith Swait, of Nevada.

Paternal grandparents are Jim and Kathy Lea, of Brazito, Mo. Paternal great-grandmother is Jo Lea, of Marshfield, Mo.
