Brian Twombly - Monica Reed

Avery and Cheryl Reed, Fort Scott, and Timothy and Janet Twombly of Troy, Kan., announce the engagement of their children, Monica Reed, Independence, Mo., and Brian Twombly, Council Bluffs, Iowa.

The bride to be graduated from Fort Scott High School in 2001 and from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor of Science in 2005. She is currently employed by the Center Place Restoration School as a teacher.

The groom to be is a 2001 home school graduate, a 2006 graduate of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Systems Engineering and a 2008 graduate of University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a Masters of Science. He is currently employed by the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers in Omaha, Neb.
