He had worked for more than 45 years as a bricklayer for the local bricklayer's union in Kansas City. He proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed gardening, puzzles and building. He was a member of the Deerfield Baptist Church in Deerfield, Mo. and the F.O.E. No. 3717 in Sugar Creek, Mo. He was married to Donna L. (Barker); she preceded him in death on Jan. 3, 2009.
Survivors include; his siblings, Wanda Haley, William Wyckoff, Wiley Wyckoff, Weldon Wyckoff and Rhonda Bailey; a daughter, Wanda Gail Wyckoff; four grandchildren, Anita, Jennifer, Elizabeth and Doug Leeper; two great-grandchildren, Alex and Christopher Leeper; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Gail Wyckoff in 1965, and two siblings, Wilma Carpenter and Wayne Wyckoff.
