Frances J. McKelvey

Frances J. McKelvey, 86, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009. She was born on Sept. 29, 1923, in Harwood, Mo., to George Washington and Nellie Mae (Charles) Steincross.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Gentry W. Steincross; sisters, Anita Ruth Campbell, Tempy Steincross, Hazel Johnston, Zola Mayberry, and Georgia Weber.

Survivors inculde: sons, James Douglas McKelvey, and Stephen H. McKelvey; daughter, Mary Frances Fagler; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 1144 M Street, Lincoln, Neb. Memorials are suggested to the Saint Paul United Methodist Church or P.E.O. Chapter EE. No visitation, cremation.
