Freshman girls rout Neosho

NEOSHO, Mo. -- The Nevada High School freshman girls' basketball team added another strong victory to their record Tuesday night as they faced the Neosho Lady Wildcats.

The Lady Wildcats were never really able to get anything going in the contest on either the offensive or defensive end of the floor, allowing head coach Clay Wheeler's Lady Tigers to cruise their way to a 46-6 win. Christian Novak and Regan Kimbrough led the offensive effort for the Lady Tigers with 10 points each, followed closely by Lauren Baker with seven, Regan Kannady with six, Ashley Shumaker with five, Paige Greer with four and Marissa Heard and Victoria Culbertson with two.

The Lady Tigers are scheduled to be in action again tonight as they head back out on the road to Pleasant Hill, Mo.
