Bridge of Hope Therapy seeks award

Thursday, December 17, 2009

Osceola, Mo. -- A few weeks ago the Living Waters Foundation submitted a grant application to benefit the Bridge of Hope Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center in Osceola, Mo. Out of almost 5,000 submissions from around the country, a group of judges selected the top 50 to compete for a $10,000 award for their program. Bridge of Hope was chosen in that group of 50. This is a phenomenal opportunity for this rural area's children, organization representative said. The award will be presented to the top five programs who receive the most votes via Facebook Internet voting between now and Jan. 17. Those who wish to vote can search for the "VOTE FOR BRIDGE OF HOPE" group and access the link there, or do a Google search for "power a bright future bridge of hope", go to the Web site, find Bridge of Hope Therapy, and vote. Voters are allowed to vote once every 24 hours and are encouraged to share this information with their friends on Facebook to vote and share also.

Funding nonprofit organizations in small, rural areas is difficult as they lack the industrial and corporate advantages available in large cities. For more information, contact Joyce Brown at (417) 646-2694 or by e-mail at livingwatersranch@gmail.com
