Santa's helpers still need toys

The Clayton 4-H collected toys for the Vernon County Ambulance District's toy drive instead of having a gift exchange. Cheri Smith, club leader, said she was very proud of the group for displaying such generosity. The district is receiving a lot of toys and is very grateful for the community spirit of Vernon County; but despite in flow of goodwill, still more toys are needed. Cash and toy donations will be accepted through 5 p.m., Friday.
