Kevin T. Quinn - Anna M. Sommer

Rod and Connie (nee Henke) Sommer of Kearney, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Marie, to Kevin Timothy Quinn, son of James and Kathleen (nee Penn) Quinn, of Lenexa, Kan. Grandparents of the bride are Julie Sommer and the late William Sommer, St. Joseph, Mo., Richard and Barbara Sneddon of Gladstone, Mo., and the late Leonard and Regina Henke, Salisbury, Mo. Grandparents of the groom are the late Richard and Regina Quinn, Prairie Village, Kan., and Leo and Lillian Penn, of Nevada.

Miss Sommer, a senior at Kansas State University, will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in May 2010, and plans to attend law school in the fall.

Mr. Quinn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University, and recently received a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with concentration in Structural Engineering, from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently employed by Haris Engineering, Overland Park, Kan.

A May wedding is planned in Kansas City, Mo.
