David Errol Willeman, 60, Ft. Smith, Ark., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 12, 2010, at Kaufman Presbyterian Hospital, Kaufman, Texas. He was born July 6, 1949, in Ottawa, Kan., to Ernest Errol Willeman and Kathryn Mignon Hereford Willeman. He married Debra L. Souders on June 29, 1974, in Gower, Mo., and she survives of the home.
David grew up in Gower, Mo., and attended East Buchanan School. He obtained a degree in commercial art from OSU Technical College in Okmulgee, Okla. David worked for the past eight years for American Limousine Company in Van Buren, Ark., in research and development for graphic design. He had lived in Ft. Smith for the past 14 years. David accepted the Lord in June 1978.
Survivors in addition to his wife Debbie, include one son, Kenneth Willeman and his wife Tara, of the home; one grandson, Rune Willeman, of the home; two brothers, Kenny Brown and his wife Beverly, Plattsburg, Mo., and Clair Willeman, Scurry, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and his mother- and father-in-law, Richard and Bonnie Souders, El Dorado Springs, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tommy Willeman and Leslie Willeman, and one nephew, Scott Brown.
A committal service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Friday, April 23, at Welborn Cemetery in Moundville, Mo.
