July 27

James Farris, Nevada, reported a theft in the 1600 block of Trotter Lane. Items stolen were: CD player and amps.

July 28

1:16 p.m.: An accident occurred at Walnut and Elm streets involving a pickup driven by Rodney D. Squier, El Dorado Springs, and a car driven by Bonnie J. Rains, el Dorado Springs. No injuries were reported.

11 a.m.: An accident occurred at 800 E. Hickory St. when an unkown vehicle struck a car owned by Roger L.V. Hensley, Nevada. Accident is still under investigation.

July 29

Gammon Car Wash, Nevada, reported a burglary and unlawful entry in the 200 block of North Ash Street. Items stolen were: keys and cash.

10:38 a.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 and Business 71 involving a car driven by Joyce A. Drummond, Richards, and a van driven by Blake I. Duncan, Deepwater, Mo. No injuries were reported.

7:10 p.m.: An accident occurred at Subway and Walnut streets involving a pickup driven by Tyler W. Snowden, Lamar, and a vehicle that left the scene. No injuries were reported.

July 30

5:25 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 and Main Street involving an S.U.V driven by Emma L. Conner, Nevada, a car driven by Charles W. Morton, Nevada, and an S.U.V driven by Jeanne K. Camden, Glenwood, Mo. Charles Morton and passengers, Kaitlyn E. Morton and Carolyn M. Morton, all were reported with probable and not-apparent injuries.

July 31

8:20 a.m.: An accident occurred at 540 N. Subway St. involving a pickup driven by Lloyd A. Pence, Nevada, and a car owned by Janice E. Leonard, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

August 4

Dallas Yockey, Nevada, reported a vehicular theft in the 1100 block of East Austin Blvd. Item stolen was a 2004 tan and gold Chevrolet Cavalier, four door.

11:07 a.m.: A one-vehicle accident occurred in the Wood's Supermarket parking lot when the driver Larry R. Schoenauer, Nevada, was letting passenger Helen Cornell, Nevada, out of the vehicle and his foot slipped causing the vehicle to strike Cornell. Cornell received probable and not-apparent injuries.
