Rickey Lane Ward

Rickey Lane Ward, 54, Nevada, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin. He was born May 16, 1956, in Oroville, Calif., to Lloyd Harless and Edith Ida Pickering Harless.

Rickey came to Nevada in 1995. He worked at the Nevada Recycling Center and was a mechanic for various garages in Nevada. He also worked for Young Iron and Metal for five years, he was a self-employed mechanic, and worked for the Forkner Group in Nevada. He served in the U. S. Air Force for 10 years as an aircraft mechanic.

Survivors include his mother Edith Reddick, Oroville, Calif., and one cousin, Jacqueline Pickering, Oroville, Calif.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. A committal service will be held at a veteran's Cemetery in California.
