Hall -- 50 years

Allen and Betty Hall, of Pittsburg, Kan., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 10, at the Homer Cole Senior Citizen Center, 3003 N. Joplin Street, in Pittsburg. Allen Hall and Betty Anderson were married Oct. 8, 1960, in LaCygne, Kan.

The reception will be hosted by their children, Allen "Bud" Hall and wife Kathi, Gwen LawRance and Rick Peak, Kevin Hall and wife Amy, Crystal Lotterer and husband Jay, and the Hall's 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. This special occasion is open to all friends and relatives. The family noted that the pleasure the couple will receive from the presence and friendship of those attending is the only gift desired.
